Today...I'm happy to be alive.

Not because the sun is shining, or because I live in a place that could possibly be called paradise...

Not because I made any friends or met a hottie...

But because I didn't get hurt or killed in the shop yesterday.

Yes, boys and girls, your very own lil' miss Holliday almost ate shit, for real...

What I can't impress on you enough, is the smallness of the shop I work in.

So when Mentor started to pull in the Ford Explorer he was going to break down and the engine not only suddenly flipped into overdrive, but got STUCK there...

And came careening into this little shop, straight at me...

Man, the look on Mentor's face...total panic...

It all happened so fast I didn't have time to realize what was going on or have my life flash before my eyes...in fact, people play around so much about revving their engines or squeeling tires...I didn't even think to back up and get out of the way...

As luck would have it...the Expedition hit the BMW I'd just put back together, then turned and hit the Lexus on my other side...also rear ending a Mercedes my coworker was putting back together on it's other side...as well as a spare gas tank and parts I'd just had returned to me from the paint shop...

After he plowed into and got himself wedged in between these three cars...the engine was still in overdrive...the tires still spinning...he was able to get it out of gear and shut the monster down.
