Well, it's day four of the rest of my life...and I haven't accomplished much.

I sure am enjoying the fact that I don't have to get up at obscene hours of morning to operate heavy machinery after a long night of drinking and shaking my ass.

Called that mercedes shop in New Mexico...still no dice.
They don't want to pay the $5,500 it would take to hire me.
Apparently they took a kid from the program before, paid the money, and then the kid didn't last 3 months in the shop.

They said they'd discuss it and get back to everyone.
I'd really LOVE to be there, but I'm not holding my breath.

Work kinda sucks.
It had been nice and quiet for a while.
The crackheads had been fired or suspended.
Even without a tv in the break room we were all getting along and making our money.
But as with all good things, they can't last.
There's one crackhead in particular that has come back.
Even if she weren't a crackhead, she's still an asshole.

The boss lady even hates her and said I can kick her ass so long as I don't do anything terrible on camera...heh heh...

The good news is that with all this time getting freed up I can finally feel myself starting to relax.

No, I haven't gotten around to cleaning my house...but I will.

I just feel happier actually having some time to myself.
I have the time to read a good book.
I have the time to take long showers.
I have the time to do whatever I want.
Which today includes replacing my brake pads...which I really better get to before it gets to hot out there!
