Sensible decision to maximise your chance at Mac but you should have had it all sorted out ahead of time. Preparation is all and that includes being timely about it. They won't hold their books open forever and a day. You've got to be professional about it in all respects.
You should fill your day evenly so do something to contribute to your job chances, something for pleasure as a reward for that, then something for health etc etc. I dunno but you need to maintain the self-discipline and keep structure - it's not nice, it ain't fun but it pays back well in the years to come.

Go talk to new peoples somehow, even organised socials or whatever you need to expand your social links by the sound of it
no goodness with my family
Generate some, somehow and keep at it
no job
Keep trying my best friend was out for a year and I flagged some jobs in my company and now he's back here
no school
It's never too late to do further ed. just think about what might stand you in good stead in the future e.g. ICT skills, personal skills etc what would make you more employable than the next person etc.

we friends love you, so there, even if it's tougher love than normal 'cos you need to keep focussed and not get down-hearted

I'm 44 and feeling decrepit I've got to face an op on Monday which is not my fave thing and I won't be able to be active on a whim for weeks. You're walking and talking and able to kick ass!!

Well that's the fun of life isn't it, it's in the mix it's like eating the nougat bar and finding it's all peanuts and no nougat and then the next time you get one it's all yummy nougat and zero nuts!!
Go with the flow and make moves and be patient and hope because things do change and stuff will happen good for you.
