So the inevitable has finally happened in London.

I figured it was just a matter of time, and with the g8 occuring on this island at the moment it was a 'good' time to strike.

I was looking at a flat this morning, and so didn't make my way into London for work as I would have normally.

Thankfully everyone I know and care about is ok.

It comes as a really bitter pill having come home with happy commuters last night after it was announced we'd won the 2012 Olympics.


The words Blair and Sincerity don't often go togther in my opinion, but I thought he did well under pressure with no real time to prepare. He was measured and dignified. Damn it, he was British!

I'm still in a bit of shock as is everyone around here. It's been a day to phone/email people and let them know you care, and a day to remind you that life is both short and precious.

I hate extremists.

Thanks for all your concern for us Londoners. We survived the Blitz you know.
