The solo Acoustic Gig That Never Was

So, after 29 years of waiting I was almost at my first acoustic performance last night.

I was on the tube, 2 stops away when the driver announced that someone had fallen on the tracks ahead of us.

We sat in a tunnel seemingly forever until we were diverted to another station.

There was an insane queue getting...

Nope, well maybe, I'm not to sure. Where I am is kind of a long way a ways from Sydney. You'll do fine tonight. Wish I could be there biggrin .
Hey do you use a mac or PC?
jazz:
I'v been good, a little to good perhaps. Not getting up to any mischief. Any goss.......well.......ummmmm......let me think. I'm doing a set on SG won't be up for a while though. Um what else, nope I'm stuck for gos.
Hey, I want your opinion. Do you think I'd look stupid with short hair? I'm thinking of cutting it all off. confused
Hopefully by the time you get to Sydney town it wont be as grey as it is at the moment. I'd say the weather would be worse in Syd than where you are at the moment.
Good luck again, tell me how it all went later.
See ya, jazz miao!!

Just had my jabs for the Cambodia leg of my trip.

Yellow Fever
Tetanus
Typhoid
Hepatitis A & B

Plus I need to take anti-Malaria tablets.

I am a walking drug fiend right now. Still, I'm used to a small prick.
erica:
Jeez. Pretty fucking quiet in your journal these days.

And I am still mad you are not "stopping by" Canada on your way. biggrin
erica:
I'm going out in about an hour for the night. Sunday would be good. E-mail me something.

I'm going to an open mic night in London next Wednesday evening with me guitar.

If any of you are Londonites, it's going to be at:

Progress Bar
162 Tufnell Park Road
Tufnell Park Tube
@7.30pm. Free!

You're only allowed 2 songs (perfect for a first time). I plan to do a guitar track and a piano track. Now to pick the songs.

Any ideas?

I signed myself up for a 10k night run around London at the end of November.

I'm in get fit mode at the moment and have been "trying" to get my ass down the gym a few times a week.

At work we have this really funny old Rocky style gym straight out of 1976. It has skipping ropes and everything. I wanna go chase...

wow... that is harsh. its understandable though. i'll wait. i'll just bookmark you as interesting... yay for these fancy new features.
i got to listen to a couple of your songs (i just realized that i have to leave for work RIGHT NOW) and i'll listen to the rest later. i really like the first two though. it was kind of more what i expected, with the accent and everything... your band doesn't sound "british" at all. i'm assuming you aren't headstand's lead singer.
argh! got to go. later! kiss
