I had a pretty bad day all in all. I've been extremely happy recently but today was a bit of a downer. Nothing truly serious. Just a disappointment.
On the bright side, we have a small investment partnership - an investment club - and we are beating the market (S&P 500) by about 21% over the last 12 month period. Were one able to do that for, say, 7 consecutive years, one's money would increase 800%. (Compounding.)
If I were in a better mood generally, that would be reason to go buy a book or the like. As it is, its reason to be happy about some good decisions.
I hope tomorrow brings better things. I have to find a new place to live, and I'm not thrilled with the prospect of moving. Moving is always an effort, particularly when you have lots of books and small things (cameras) which you value highly. Sigh. Work.
