So it all starts Friday night when the fuse box for my house decides to blow up. Luckily I am a scientist and my dad who is an engineer is also visiting my city at the moment to do some work as a NZ Navy reservist. So there was no shortage of brain power and skill to fix the problem, sadly since normal electricians don't work on weekends the shops that sell some of the parts we needed see no need to be open. Therefore rather then a quick repair that should have only taken an hour we spent the entire day fixing parts that needed to be thrown out. All I can do now is hope my house doesn't burn down till next weekend when I will have new parts.
