My university has offered me a fully paid phd if I switch to an Honors rather then Masters and get an A on my dissertation. Though this will actually be really easy since I will be part of a team of researchers working on something I can't talk about, it means I will now have to remain unemployed and poor for the next 12 months. I will then get a yearly stipend of $25k. I am hopeful though that I will get lucky (or unlucky depending on how you look at it) and manage to get another lab class I can be paid to teach.
