I worked out that I have been out of my house for over three months of this year. No wonder my cat is going crazy. I've mainly been in sunnier climes and I have to admit hat it has affected me. I feel colder in this English Autumn than I ever have. I still love the change of seasons here but I miss the balmy evenings eating & drinking on terraces.

I have a few more short trips and then might head to the US for Xmas just to get away from my family. Is there anyone else like me that feels even further removed from their family when they get presents at Xmas. I realise how little they know me.

Funny story from my Doors book. One day Jim just took this guy for a drive round LA in a rented car but he didn't talk, put the radio on or stop and just kept driving, the guy sat their silently trapped. Dunno found that funny.
