I suppose introductions are in order seeing this is my first "entry" hahaha. They have a tendency to shout Stphane when in need of me, with an accent aigu on the first 'e', that's right, my first language is French, and I was born in Qubec. English, the language I'm presently writing in, is technically foreign to me, even though I mastered it at a young age. I'm plenty aware of phobic attitudes towards those of the Romance languages. Should you have the misfortune of being xenophobic towards francophones, please click here and redirect your sorry ass somewhere else, et m'adresser surtout pas la parole. If you aren't hateful towards modern-day Gauls, then do read on, and maybe get to know someone new in the process.
Lacking the proper socialization skills, I decided not to live the life of a college or university student. I don't like the atmosphere of large schools and have heard too many horror stories of people with bachelor degrees and no jobs. This leaves me at a loss of words when one mentions course loads and student debts; I live not in this reality. Emergency measures, however, is a passion of mine. I prefer driving down a street at full speed in order to save someone's life rather than punching in numbers at a computer desk. While working in hospital safety & security I prepare for the next candidacy call for paramedic school, which unfortunately only comes once a year.
I spend my spare time and money looking for rare books, antiques, breweriana, fine Scotch whiskies, and the meaning and origins of the universe. You can usually find me at the Atwater market searching for the finest of ingredients, since I love to cook. Or at my local tattoo shop, getting inked on a regular basis. My fondness for body art culminates in numerous inking sessions for the eventual completion of my Japanese bodysuit, of which I'm almost halfway done.
I don't bite, unless you're made of hot bread. So don't be shy, because I usually am.
