I'd better take the chance now that I have it if I'm to make another entry in my journal, this is the only free time I've had since the last one. I apologize for the randomness (although some people do like it like that) but the earth-shaking events of my life usually come in slower intervals.
We cut everything down in the garden so nothing falls off and rots the earth, I can't wait to see the Bergamot on its second growth, the chives should double in yield as well next year.
My Father sent me an email saying he was hospitalized this week for trouble with a kidney (?) the doctor told him he needs to lose 20 pounds, I should follow the same advice. I haven't, after all, lost the weight I gained from after I quit smoking.
I caught one of my co-workers looking at porn on the hospital computer, which puts our entire department at risk of punitive retaliation from the administration, so I told my supervisor about. Although he probably already knew, they usually build up a case against those who break these sort of rules so they can properly can their asses. From what I heard the computer services dept. knows everything about the employees' surfing habits.
Dr.E is putting his plans for global domination on hold and concentrating on local hegemony for the moment. With the new mayoral election coming this November and revelations of contract buying at municipal hall for the exchange of party donations, it's time to clean up this city. I think a lot of people will just vote Bourque this time just because Tremblay has been in power too long (5 years?) Doesn't take long to corrupt the hearts and souls of those in positions of responsibility.
It's our anniversary coming up soon, 6 years in total on the 13'th of October (our 7'th year anniversary will be celebrated on Friday the 13'th next year) so I've made reservations at a nice Greek restaurant, Greek because I like the ingredients they use in the cuisine (mediterranean herbs, garlic and really good olive oil usually win me over every time), AND at every Greek restaurant you can bring your own wine (a Greek tradition) I found a wonderful wine from Australia called Yellow Tail (Shiraz) that tastes like licorice and black pepper, perfect drink to go with a nice steak. I asked for a spot right next to the fireplace for our dining enjoyment. As for what we'll do after our bout of gastronomical binging, I have no idea. Maybe a carriage ride at the old port? Sara does like the horsies. We'll see, and I'll surely take pictures!
I love you, I love you all.
(Check out the new Mary photoset, this girl, I swear, her pics always left me dizzy)
