Some of you may already know, but me and Miya have broken up. There was no rows or anything, it was a mutual thing, we just both felt different. I think we kinda went full circle: We started going out, then moved in together after 6 months, then got engaged, then lived apart for over a year, and now it feels like weve circled back round to being friends.

Its annoying feeling this way because we still love eachother lots, but i feel bad because im trying to keep some distance to try and make things easier for us, but how do you go from texting someone everyday and seeing them every weekend, to trying only to text a couple of times a day and deciding when its ok to see eachother. Theres not exactly books on this thing!

We are still friends, and i want to apologise to her if i seem distant, but we have to get over the awkwardness and the hurt before we can be proper friends dont we, otherwise well just be hanging out with all these unsettled feelings which would cause arguements - something i really dont want because at such a delicate time a row isnt going to help anyone.

Im still going to her birthday party this weekend, and i hope she wont find things awkward, the last thing i want is to ruin her birthday.
