I've been reading about hippos in Smithsonian; man, they're actually very fast and uhh dangerous. I always saw the little flat teeth but apparently missed the gigantic fangs and the fact that they can open their jaws 150 degrees.

I would like to claim clairvoyance, or synchronicity (like the Police!), but I think the slides I pictured had the Banana Splits riding down them. I was just full of 1970s acid-kids-programming imagery.
