an entry of twos

two things i did on the bus today:


ate endangered and odd multi-lingual animals
gave a paperback copy of silence of the lambs to a boy reading red dragon in a matching hoody


only moments after stepping off this bus did i realize the following two things:


i actually never finished the book i'd just given away
and the reason i knew that was because the two dollar bill i was using for a bookmark was still in the book


so i hope that all this good fortune will return to me in some exciting way or maybe i'll hear about this awesome stranger who gave a boy an animal cracker, a book he needed and didn't have and the wonderfully exciting gift of a two dollar bill...


two things i miss:


having a full time significant other
living alone, or rather not having a roommate


two things i'm looking forward to:


going to new york to see the neue galerie's Van Gogh exhibit
spending time with my east coast family


two things i'm grateful for:


half birthday presents
a job i mostly love

a trip to scotland
