In approximately 110 minutes (from the time I wrote this statement) the minute hand and the hour hand will have swapped positions on my analog clock.

So I'm in kind of a slump. This whole running out of money, not having a job, rent is due soon, etc is kind of a downer.
But my horoscope says that if I can get through it, things will start changing for the better. Normally I don't really pay much attention to what my horoscope says, but optimisim is a welcome trait right now!...

what better walking billboard for their business than someone who learned first hand and turned his own finances around. when you figure it all out make sure to post the secret so I can mooch your ideas.

Violence is always unnecessary.
The only time I see any amount of force as necessary is if you're trying to defend yourself. Violence only begets more violence.
I'm not the type to sit and live in fear of something I have no control over. But there's been a lot of talk recently about the possibility of war, or the use of nuclear weapons. Considering just...

when I look at America as a whole I wonder why people wopuld want to live here. what really opened my eyes was when I was in Cancun Mexico this past spring and met some people who live there (they were from Argentina originally though) anyways the way they carried on about the typical Americans and how our President and many affluent tourists present themselves made me realize that is what they see of our country first hand and what they know of our country from the news. The hotel I stayed at had mostly rich people who acted like their shit didn't stink and all that happy horse-shit, so I could see immediately why they had ther opinions of America that they have. I tried to explain that its much different here for a majority of the people are not like what gets presented in the news/media (either major success stories of money & greed, or high violence, drug addicted crime filled mayhem) most of the time its quite nice, and most poeple are good honest hard working people.
anyways I don't know where exactly I'm going with this except that it scares me too that 95% of the people I know are good normal people yet the world sees the other 5% and deems us a crappy country filled with corruption and evil that must be stopped. ummm, yeah...thats it.....or something

It's pretty scary.
And although I might (accidentally?) say a lot about my life in a paragraph, I never manage to say it all.

Tonight I think I started dancing a little better. And I gained at least two skillpoints in "fake smiling".
Once upon a time I met a radio DJ named Sara. At first I had a crush on her, but the more I met her the less I liked her. Thankfully she doesn't remember who I am anymore.

I saw the Armchair Cynics a few years ago right after they had been chosen by the "Q" for one of the Rocktoria C.D's. Didn't think much of them.
Didn't do much today in terms of making the world a better place asides from not making it any worse than it was.

I pity the foo that can't spell "pitty".
Today I got out to do some more job hunting. I also managed to go by the restaurant and pick up my last check. Unforuntately, they decided to forget to put my vacation pay on there, so they still owe me a little bit of money.

Swimmeroo-ing is fun! I still have not had a chance to go to any lake or beach yet this summer. Pooh.
But in August, we're going to have a car for that month! Yay!
I'm out like a trout, yo!

Still no advancing on the job hunt. Oh well, I'm trying to stop worrying so much about it. I'll find something I'm sure. There are a bunch of almost sure jobs that I've put off applying to, so I think I'm going to go check them out tomorrow.
I've had a lot of spare time recently, so I've been renting a lot of movies. I've...

What are you looking for in terms of a job? The nice thing about being as old as I am is people I know usually have lines on openings.
Hemiting is nescessary sometimes but don't make it a habit. There are tons of things that don't cost much more than renting videos to do in this town.

I saw my (old) boss tonight, who told me why I was fired. They misunderstood my final call-in as me saying I'd be late ("I'll make it if I can" were my exact words) and my not showing up means I was a "no show". Therefore, my record of employment will list me as "fired - no show".
I haven't been doing enough to find...

Hang in there!

I was there. Quite drunk from being at Swans earlier, but I was there. Until midnight or so.
I'm so happy that I happened to have a pen on me! It'll be whitewashed today, most likely, so I'm glad you saw it before that. I had no idea what to write.

Listening to: All my favorite songs that I haven't listened to in a long long time... (some cursive, some death cab, some junior boys... it goes on...)
So I have a few names, and a few application forms ready. All I have to do now is type up some cover letters, and get a few resumes printed off. I have an old friend in town...

It was real great meeting you last Sat. Come Sept I'm hoping we'll be able to have SGVic hang outs where I live.

OH MY GOD, I'm super drunk but I want you to look at your whitewashed "graffiti" on Yates! Seriously. I.. made it better, I swear!
GO LOOK. NOW.
I didn't see you tonight!
Oh god, I need to sleep.

My first officially unemployed day was... well... a disaster. It didn't go badly, but I was way too lazy for my own good when I was struck by a sudden disinterest in doing anything that would better my situation. Evil Dead II provided some entertainment, but that was about it. I left my house in the evening to go to the restaurant, but nobody was...

I haven't actually heard any of them, because my computer's been braindead for the past while. I'll be getting it back within the next few days, and I'll learn all about these fancy podcasts then.
Question: I was walking home tonight and saw "Hipples" written on that wooden tunnel-type thing along Yates Street, right where all that construction's been going on. Is this your doing? I thought of you, of course.
Maybe I'll see you at Lucky tomorrow.
