(one.) List style entries rock. They are easy to put together because I can just point form shoot off all of my little thoughts and not have to worry about connecting them in any sort of fashion. (CeCe gets all the original credit for this concept right now...)
(two.) For weeks it seems like friend activity has been slowing down on SG... little to no comments, infrequent updates, etc. Then suddenly today, just about everyone on my friends list decided to update. What a page of bookmarks I got to go through! And all of this right when I'm feeling down on the internet myself...
(three.) I passed my evaluation with Public Outreach. I'm now an official fund raiser (Level Up!) Of course, I still have quota's, and technically there is always the three month probation time... but if they've trusted me this far, I'm sure they have faith.
(four.) I do not have a crush on anyone. Period.
(five.) Apparently there's risk of me being evicted because my roommates check didn't go through. However, his sister (currently staying here) is going to lend me his rent for now, so hopefully I can get this sorted out tomorrow.
(six.) Went to a little shindig tonight with a group of people I don't really know all that well. I've kind of been doing that a lot lately (going to parties where I know maybe one person, at best). It's actually a lot of fun... I've met some really nifty people.
(seven.) I am making a solid effort these days to spend time with people that I think are cool. If effort is never returned, obviously I give up on the lost cause... but I feel like it's been awhile since I've had any strong friendships. At the very least, it's keeping me in the company of good people.
(eight.) Camera damage is minimal. Just a dent, everything functions normally. (Whether future issues may arise as a result is still yet to be seen, but I'm not worried. I think I've made jSnaz feel much worse about it than she needed to...)
(nine.) I love meeting people and making friends. It can be hard sometimes not to seem weird when meeting people over something as anonymous as the internet though, and that's why I try to be completely honest and open about who I am. Unfortunately there are still some people whom I can only communicate with via the internet for now. Regardless of the fact that our contact is so limited, I think that Elle and Colette79 are some of the coolest people on this site, and so I encourage everyone to go say hello. That's my "shout out" for today. ♥
(ten.) I'm ridiculous. I can't wait for the next Harry Potter Movie to come out. These books are fun. My reading list beyond HP is growing at a steady rate too, and I look forward to all the reading I'll be able to do well into the new year.
(eleven.) I bought some stamps. I want to start writing letters / postcards to people. So, if you'd like me to write to you, send me (via the contact/email form on the left) your address with a note about whether you'd like a full on letter or a postcard of some sort. (All mail will obviously be hand written, and might even include a custom home made Hipples post card, sticker or drawing. No guarantees on these extras though...)
This of course includes the understanding though that you will get my return address and possibly send me some return mail at some point yourself. Why am I doing this? Because I like getting mail that isn't asking me for money (bills
), and I think it would be fun to use the old snail mail for once. I'm offering to pen-pal it up with anyone who's willing!

(thirteen.) Weekend plans! I look forward to having a few days yet again to just relax and unwind. I may get up early enough tomorrow to go to VV with uncommoncold and company (unless I sleep in too late). And as for the evening... well I thought about checking out Bettina's show as well. But at the very least, you'll find me at Lucky before the night is over...
