Quick update: Today I couldn't convince anyone that the SPCA was awesome. 
If I don't do it well tomorrow, I may have to start looking for a new job I think.

My roommates rent check bounced. I've tried calling him, but he's far away and not answering his phone. I'm confident he'll sort things out, but I'm not liking the situation I might start to see myself in...

I think jobs with quotas can be very unfair. How is it your fault if people aren't receptive that day? Somtimes, folks are just not interested. Also, didn't you just start this job a couple of weeks ago? How are you expected to be perfect at it already?
