I saw my (old) boss tonight, who told me why I was fired. They misunderstood my final call-in as me saying I'd be late ("I'll make it if I can" were my exact words) and my not showing up means I was a "no show". Therefore, my record of employment will list me as "fired - no show".
I haven't been doing enough to find a new job yet. No calls from Public Outreach... or anyone yet for that matter.
