I woke up this morning to a phone call from "Public Outreach". The interview is now officially set for four tomorrow afternoon.
It would have been today, but I'm working through most of this afternoon. I agreed to come in and work the "transition" this afternoon (run the kitchen by myself and get things ready for the evening) so that I don't have to close this evening. Oh, and as of today, I gave my notice too.
I'm somewhat in shock that I've actually quit. But with the money I've been saving (not that I have a lot, but enough to survive a little while if I need to) and the possible opportunities coming up, I should make it through this fine. Still a little bit stressful though...
"Ted Leo and the Pharmacists" are one of my favorite bands right now. Actually I've been into them for a couple months now really. I think everyone should at least give them a try!
Okay, I have to run back to work to do this transition stuff. I'll be at Lucky tonight. The final Hang the DJ!

My iBook will be just fine in a few days time. It's weird to not have it around, though. I miss it in a really pathetic sort of way.
