Okay, so camping is not happening. I didn't even have time to think about backing out, because apparently 75% of everyone else did first. It's not a big deal though... the weather isn't even all that great today, and camping in sub par conditions is rarely as fun as it sounds.
My roommate is officially gone. Back to Prince George for a month to do some tree planting I think. I have the whole apartment to myself for awhile now. What will I do? Well... I've come to the conclusion that I'm a messy person recently, so perhaps I'll start with a day of cleaning (but today is a holiday... so I'll start tomorrow!)
Happy Canada Day! I hope everyone is out and about doing something exciting for this grand friday. This is the first of my three day weekend now, and without this camping trip, I suddenly have an abundance of free time on my hand. The folkfest is going on all weekend, so I shouldn't have too much difficulty with entertaining myself. I'd like to spend some time with friends, but unfortunately most of the people I know are working.
However, this boy I know has invited me to his apartment tomorrow night. Apparently he's having a CD release party, so that should be something exciting to do for tomorrow eve. I'm a little nervous, since the people are all very new to me, but I've seen them out at the club a lot, so it shouldn't be too bad.
If anyone wants to hang out this weekend, you should definitely drop me a message.
I think I'm going to go see a movie tonight. War of the Worlds is out recently, and if I time it right, I should be getting out of the movie with enough extra time to get downtown to see the fireworks. My batteries are all charged for my cam, so I'll be sure to take some pictures.
Oh, and my birthday is coming in a few days. I'm turning twenty one on the sixth. I have the day off, so I plan to fill it with fun and excitement too. Does anyone have any ideas about what I could do all day? At the very least, I am trying to round up everyone I know at Hugo's for a birthday Mod Night celebration. This time it's *really* my birthday, so I hope to see more people than I did on my fake birthday.

We also watched a bunch of episodes of this newish show called Robson Arms. I'd never seen it before, but it was okay. Oh, Canadian television, how I love thee!
