Hmm... well just a quick after thought about the last entry. I am not as opposed to all this modification as I sound. My issue was that some friends had invited me to hang out until they found out that I would not do mushrooms with them. And it's definitely not the first time I've been left out like that, so I wasn't feeling real great about it.

I'm sure I'll meet people more to my style at some point. Maybe when I'm older, or after I get somewhere in a career or school or something. As much as I want to fall in love, I'm pretty certain that it's not time for me to meet someone like that yet. And I'm fine with that.

So I'm just going to have fun, be myself, and let the rest figure itself out. (I'll probably still feel lonely along the way though.)

I'm not totally certain that I'm still going to go camping this weekend. If I do, I'll probably leave tomorrow. I'm almost preferring that I just stay in town and enjoy the Canada Day / Folkfest festivities though. The people I was going to camp with might be doing somethign that I want to "opt-out" of, and it's been a long time since I've hung with them, so they may not respond well to my sXe-ness. (Not that they'll be jerks about it, but I'm tired of going through that whole "why don't you do this and that" conversation, which has the potential to go on ad nauseum this weekend...)

My long weekend starts now. (6 days until my birthday!)
