Work was not a lot of fun last night. The chef of the restaurant is constantly doing little things to make me respect him less and less. I wont go into details about his latest exploit, but hes not gaining any points with me lately. I hold my leaders very accountable: if the chef, for instance, doesnt wear a hat on line, why should I be expected to wear one? The reason for the hats is the same for everyone, and I dont respect double standards.

But I dont want to say anything more negative about him, because he has done some good things for us in the restaurant. And I dont like hating my manager, because it makes work less pleasant.

Even with work being as unimpressive as it was, I decided to go out to the club anyways. A few others in the restaurant had plans of their own (poker nights, or other clubs like Plan B), but nothing interested me as much as Lucky Bar. I had a great night, and I got to meet a lot of new people. Actually I was kind of awkward for a lot of the evening, but I was having too much fun to really mind.

My weekend begins today. Im so excited that I just cant hide it.
