hipples

I'm so low on energy today. Just want to sleeeeeep. I didn't end up staying up too late last night, but it was probably still later than I should have been up (with work this morning and all).

BUT... I got paid today. Not that I have lots of money now, but I can take care of all the little bills I've been putting off. I didn't even really mean to put them off... they came in the mail and I looked at them and for some reason I just sorted them into the pile of junkmail. And there they stayed, until I got that warning that my phone might be shut off.

It's all good now though. Aside from some credit card related debt, I'm doing fine financially. Not great... but fine.

I got off work this evening before 7pm, which is usually unheard of for a Friday night. The new chef scheduled a full line for us though, and when the restaurant wasn't busy enough I volunteered to be the first to go for once. I made the most delicious stir fry over rice with the ingredients available in the restaurant... had to eat something good to counter act this lull in energy. I'm feeling better already I think!

Even though I was off early, it's not all fun and games yet. I have to be up early again tomorrow morning for another lovely training session in Nanaimo, so I can't stay up too late tonight. And I've been too lazy these past few days and so there is a massive pile of dishes waiting for me. Kyle (my roommate) told me that we were going to make a party of doing the dishes together tonight... but since they're mostly my dishes in the first place, I think I'd rather just get them out of the way before he gets home.

Another lovely friday night at home. I'm glad that the one day everyone else considers going out, I get to just stay in and relax.

Seems like I don't get a lot of time to myself these days. When you're not too busy with work, what sort of hobbies or outside entertainment do you occupy your time with most?
