So I did it! I bought a house- just not the one I mentioned before!
I haven't been on in MONTHS because the house hunt got serious and time-consuming, and then I finally found it, and I've spent the last 3 months working my ass off on fixing it up!
I bought a seriously cute colonial in Southfield, white with black shutters and a green door and dormer windows in the 2nd floor! Hardwood floors (new carpet upstairs to replace the pea-soup 70s crap that was there before) I've painted every wall and ceiling (except the basement and bathroom- working towards those 2) repainted the kitchen cabinets, new floor in the kitchen, new trim, fixtures... gosh I love this house now!
Ah, blabbing on and on, I'm just so proud of this little money-trap! haha
