I'm in the hometown for a friend's comissioning into the marines tomorrow night. theres to be a party that everyone is suspecting will be epic in nature. as such, everyone is lying low tonight to rest up for tomorrow nights antics, and there isn't shit to do in los altos, even on a friday night.

I read The Diamond Age and was like "what the fuck was that?". The rest of the book was great, but the ending was just like horrible. Snow Crash's ending was really dissapointing. That's definetly why it's only my second favorite book. From what I read, Stephenson isn't great at ending books.
I'll write down those books you gave me and go to Powell's (I don't know if you know it, but it's about the size of a city block full of books) and I'm pretty sure with I'll be able to find most, if not all of those books.
