Well it depends on the snake actually, some snakes are more aggressive so you take them from the tub they normally live in and put them in a "feeding" tub haha not the ground. My snakes are insanely friendly. My snakes haven't been aggressive at all! Evelyn hissed once when we took her out while she was in "blue" without realizing but that's all. Tongs are just so if they miss the rat and bite you haha ^.^

Ah that makes sense, you probably just think I'm a crazy australian now ay haha. That's cool, a snake that size would leave a pretty good mark if it got hold of a hand or finger. Would it make you more timid to handle them in the future if you did take a bite? Yeah I've seen that before, this snake would recoil and rear up like a cobra, I've been too scared to go near it while it's shedding.
