So there is a "coming out" poetry slam at school and I decided to present. So...I wrote this poem. What do you think?

The Bisexual

A taxonomy of the individuals for whom I have affection-
Female-
Women that can beat my father in an arm wrestling contest
women who have earth under their nails from gardening
women who have a keen fashion sense
Women who watch blood and gore horror movies
Women who look great in a suit and tie
Women who are great mothers
Women who shop at the farmers market
Women who look great in a 50s style dress
Women who are male

male-
Men who are female
Men with rippling muscles
Men who look better than I do in a dress
Men who listen to metal
Men who can run in heals
Men who can discuss string theory with me
Men who can ball room dance
Men watch the UFC
Men who will go to the theater with me

Any of these could be switched man for woman or male for female, because what I find attractive in a person does not depend on their genitals. It all comes down to the fact that I love people because of who they are, based on character, humor, attraction, and open mindedness. Could any other kind of love be more ideal?

We dont need to spend $9 Billion building the LHC and collide particles at 7 TeV to find that rare and precious thing we seek, we just need to be open minded, have good character and a sense of humour. Some of the brightest minds alive have been looking for Higgs when they should have been listening to her instead. Love the blog.

Its true there is something fundamental about you and also very rare.
