Will my mum ever stop spending large lumps of cash, I ask you? We're having a new carpet fitted in the room next door. Once again I am hemmed in by photograph albums and this time, a pink rocking chair. This is retail therapy. Our house will be worth more than anyone will want to pay to live in this area!

I heard that The Observer had claimed that 2003 was the year that dancehall went mainstream, 2004 was the year of grimey and that 2005 was going to be the year of crunk. This is the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
The likely thing that I'm talking about is 2005 as the year of Greezy. Greezy is all things: is too drunk, too lean, mean and or even just calm; Greezy is ostentatious and loud; Greezy is ugly. Greezy is spending and greezy is how you feel after work. Greezy is yet another word that someone made up. Yo. Greezies, we've got some way to go with Surrealism on the television yet. Dada has been covered so perhaps a bit of Impressionism, through which you could encourage the richness of a diverse society, because that's a good thing. Expressionism? I could make a snide comment about the offence cause to my by people on the bus using a painting by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. I am perfectly happy to cause offence to the people who cause me offence, etc. I'm going ot upset them right? I think that I don't care.

I'm still leaning on a belly full of beer from last night. I feel improved. I watched Adaptation and then preached to the beautiful actor, (I hope that someone fancies explaining the significance of the suffix -or to me because I don't have one of those dictionaries that explains the origins of words) Hal in the bar where J.J. works whilst maintaining eye contact with an older woman and switching between 'Pete' Pete and 'Peter' Pete for demonstrative if inconclusive purposes. I feel like a beacon burried in the ground, like in Halo? "Not a place called virtigo." Right. Bono, I will do my best. I bought 'How To Dismantle an Atomic Bomb' in a resurant in Barcelona for 3. Sorry. I hope that that doesn't upset the band. Maybe I should call them waq ot make up for it because everyone knows that you need to suffer to create moving art? So where is the art that isn't moving? Eh? What? Where? I still haven't painted anything but I've decided on a theme. I'm going to paint about repitition in the work, life and ideas of Silvia Plath from a self conscious viewpoint of dominant ignorance.

Notes on Genius

In this country you don't hear a lot about them. This probably has something to do with class conflict but to me at the moment everything is about class conflict.

If I am a genius then I am the Libniz sort who forgets everthing and murders himself with his occupation.

I cannot think of a single recognised female genius outside of the entertainment industry... sg excluded, sg excluded.

American childrens's television seems to be full of little brainboxes. This is never the case with British productions. Here we are constantly trying to build up the self esteem of the disadvantaged, or they are presently on CITV and CBBC. Rude Boy is the only example that I can think of.

I am obsessed with the possibility of my own genius and I have serious delusions of granduer.

Where I live being a committed intellectual places you in such a minority that you might as well be a genius although I personally only know one adult genius.

What is the point in a genius? There is certainly no such thing as an evil genius. Therefore genius must be a kind of psychological condition. I would never, ever get a genius test score because of my SpLD.

My own definition of genius is someone [sic] who meets or completes a task or a purpose perfectly without instruction. The is a catch. See point about delusions of granduer.

Enough! We all know the rest.

It's time I went out to see the gang and do something inappropriate like listening to spoken word poetry at a party, which I shall do.

BTW Kelland, I'm not going to leave the safety of my journalm even for you, but if you ever see a poem of mine in waltz time you will know that it is your own. Lacy, I have already written you something but it's part of my epic and you would probably think it was offensive, afterall, happyness is overrated.

Peace
