well the Edmonton fringe is over and i am glad

the Edmonton comedy wars are going to be starting up again yuk yuks is hoping to stay on top of the Edmonton comedy seen but the comic strip is fast overtaking yuks with great headliners and some of Edmonton's best talent pool

in the past yuks was looking for loyalty from the local guys by offering exclusive yuks contracts but most of the comics i respect declined the contract and are now working mostly at the comic strip there where also some great guys that went the yuks way and yuks closed on Tues and weds nights for the summer but now they are opening on wednesdays again and there is a meeting to discuss it this Thursday and i expect there will be more contracts offered i hope not cause i don't want to sign i want to be a free agent
