yesterday my ex-husband came to pick up my son. i was walking out to the car, barefoot, to talk to him and give him a photo book i made of jonah. i get to the car and i feel a sharp burning pain in my foot...
i look down and see a mangled yellow and black insect writhing around on the grass in (what i can only assume) is the most pain its felt in it's life.
the fucker stung me!
in the same leg as the wasp sting...
i got stung in the fold of my little toe... between the pad of my foot and the ball of the little toe. jonah came to my rescue and stepped on the offending insect and then rubbed his foot in the grass thus annihilating the poor thing beyond recognition.
i'm not sure if it was a wasp or a bee.
i suppose its needless to say my toe is swollen today and itches like the dickens! that started my original wasp sting to itch too so i was up most of the night with itching the damn things.
i was supposed to work with my father today but i am not doing that any longer... don't want to deal with shoes and itching and heavy laborious work.
i also have to say that i'm damn proud of myself... i've gone to the gym each day this week! monday was a normal weights/treadmill day and then tuesday and wednesday i took a class called muscle conditioning.
that class kicked my ass! my upper body is so sore that i can barely lift my arms above my head. we also did inner and outer thighs yesterday so those are sore as well. my husband took the class with me, which i find shocking! he never wants to take classes with me but i talked him into it on tuesday and the class kicked his ass as well!
i don't think he expected it to be so hard.
i'm getting my abstract dragon finished today. it is the tattoo that's on my right lower leg between my knee and ankle. there's not a whole lot to do but it will be about a couple hours knowing lane...
i'm glad to be getting it finished finally but i'm not looking forward to getting tattooed for some reason. usually i love it... not today tho'.

As to your current journaling, I regret the injury to your digital gap. I thought it couldn't be worse than my (non-)athlete's foot. Rest assured, my "cure" for my own pedal difficulties probably won't work for yours.
Oh... And if you were working your inner and outer thighs, I think it's axiomatic why your spouse would want to be in attendance.
