You can't win in terms of explicitness - some faction here is certain to be unhappy no matter what you do. The best course of action is to do sets that please your eye and try not to worry too much about the reactions of others. I know that's easier said than done when you're competing in a variation of a popularity contest, but it is the best choice. Even if people react negatively, there are far worse things in life than not being selected to join a group. Nothing can change the fact that you are a very beautiful young woman. smile

I seem to have missed the train on this one. What I get for lurking sets instead of reading anything I guess. lol

Everyone has their own opinion of what constitutes "art." The debate is long standing and can get pretty heated at times. The basic formula (SO not the right word but bear with me here) is Creativity + Expression = Art. That's it. However you decide to express yourself creatively is up to you.

The problem is that people want to set rigid standards when it comes to art and you can't do that. Art isn't objective, its subjective. Its meant to create an emotional response and that response is going to vary depending on the person. Those people seem to think that THEIR emotional response is going to EVERYONE'S emotional response so they react accordingly.

In the end all I can really do is repeat what has been said many times. You have your own style, you're very beautiful and you aren't afraid to express yourself in ways that make you happy. Keep being you.
