work is going very well, though im bummed about working weekends..
oh well...eventually ill get sundays off
and i gotta be thankful, seeing as its a new job, and it was super easy to get the time off to go to burning man.
speaking of which, i am VERY VERY FUCKING EXCITED!!!
on the bus ride home today, i saw a kid who looked like a young version of my dad (who passed away almost 4 years ago) this kid was quite overweight (which was something that contributed to my dads death) and it made me realize i would really like to help such people to be motivated to lose weight and be healthier.
so why the fuck am i a pastry chef...
but yeah... the trouble with this thought is i dont think said people would take me seriously, being natually thin, eat what the fuck i want.. they would probably think, what the fuck does this chick know about my situation?
i know enough. i know what its like to lose someone because of it. its amazing how much it affects me when i see severely overweight people, knowing they will more than likely die relatively young.
anyway...
im going to convince tom to go for a bike ride. i have far too much energy considering ive been go go go go for the past week or so..
