I'm totally ordering the DVD when I get more money in a few weeks. Woot!
So I had a relaxing weekend. A nice break from this apartment and all the drama and stress of last week. Friday night I was supposed to go to Dayton with friends, but plans fell out at last minute. So I drove down to Indy to send some time with the folks. Saturday I went out with my bro and bought my dad some golf balls for Dad's Day (we get him the same damn thing every year, but he always asks for the same thing every year...). Yeah, we fit right in at Golf Galaxy, what with my brother in his Dimmu Borgir shirt and hair longer than mine and me in a low cut black tank top with the missing back, exposing my very large tattoo of a half naked woman. We went over to Vibes music where I got Handsome Boy Modeling School's first album (which I can't stop playing). We also went to Half Price Books where I got the Pulp Fiction soundtrack. I then gorged myself on raspberries that my parents bought for me. Me and the folks went and saw Batman Begins. I enjoyed everything accept Katie Holmes; that role was terribley miscast, she and Christian Bale (who I thought made an excellent Bruce Wayne, second only to Michael Keaton (sigh) .) had absolutely no chemistry, and she made the character annoying. I think if someone else had been cast Rachel wouldn't have been that bad. My choices for who would've been better: Sarah Michelle Gellar (who was actually up for the role) or Kerri Russel. Today I watched Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Ed Wood, and Shaun of the Dead. I then ate a pot roast, got in my car blasting some Hadsome Boy Modeling school and had a lovely drive home in the late evening sun with the windows down. I'm now updating this here journal and listening to the "new" Atmosphere album. I also got my potential future roommates home number and address, so I'm bombarding her home with calls and sending her a letter until I get a hold of her. What's new with you?
an additional thought: The best part about getting a paycheck? Tattoo money.
when I get the money, this is going on my side (the curves/side of the ribs). it will take a while, but I can wait.
random thought: I don't think Katie and Stormy have ever left my favorite girls since the day I joined.
