Since it is beyond gorgeous outside today and feels like summer, here it is. My summer 2005 mix:
1.(Intro) "Turn the Sun Down (theme to Daria: Is it Fall Yet?)"-Splendora
2."Cha-Cha Twist"-The Detroit Cobras
3."Set it Off"-Peaches
4."Friday, I'm in Love"-The Cure
5."Dancing Days"-Led Zeppelin
6."Serious"-Gwen Stefani
7."C'mon, C'mon"-The Von Bondies
8."Beating Heart Baby"-Head Automatica
9."Peek-A-Boo"-Siouxsie and the Banshees
10."Nancy Boy"-Placebo
11."Pablo Picasso"-The Modern Lovers
12."The Waterboy"-Imperial Teen
13."Everyone is Someone in L.A."-Felix Da Housecat
14."Possum Kingdom"-The Toadies
15."Everyone Has a Summer"-Lovage
16."Rio"-Duran Duran
17.(Outro) "Daisy"-Stone Temple Pilots
I can't wait to drive down to South Carolina next week (Yes. I'm going to Charleston. Eeep! Warm sunny summer weather. Beaches. Get to see my family. Wedding fun.) in my dad's new Ford Escape (they're letting me drive. fun, no?) blasting this mix with the windows open.
I'm listening to the Detroit Cobras, Mink, Rabbit, Rat. This CD brings me endless amounts of happy.
I finished my paper I've been freaking out about for the past month. Fwew! Now I can start freaking out about my massive directing assignment.
I also have only a week to memorize my audition piece. Gah, it's gonna suck.
I'm done filming Wednesday. Yay!
I am so ready for summer, it's ricockulous. Sure, I'm taking summer school, but I am actually looking forward to it. I'm taking some of my theatre core requirements: Computers in Theatre and Dance, Intro to Performance Studies, and Stagecraft (for which I will most likely be working on the summer Shakespeare thang here in Muncie.)
I'm in a good mood today. Tell me a joke. Dirty or clean.
Hope everybody is having a good day.

I am about to put on Stereolab's Sounddust for the thousandth time. It's just one perfect album.
