Blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. I just spent three hours working on my final project for English. I still have to write the abstract. Sure, two pages isn't a lot, but I could easily do it in 4 sentences. Oi.
Moved most of my stuff out yesterday. Threw the nasty carpet away. I don't have a microwave or a refridgertor in here and the dining halls or closed, so dry shreaded wheat, fruit bars, and pretzel sticks are my dinner.
I go home Tuesday. Monday night is my last night sleeping here ever. I have to come back Friday night for a final, and then I'm done with Purdue forever.
Dude, it's May. Why is it only in the 50s? Meh. It's going to be 78 Friday...
I am ready for summer like a mofo. Even though I have to work, most jobs I can get won't start until 11, so I'm still sticking my staying up until 3 am plan like I do every summer. Summer music: A Perfect Circle, Jeff Buckley, Stone Temple Pilots, Type O Negative, electronica like woa, hip hop, dance etc. My trip hop collection usually goes into hibernation when summer comes. It feels like winter/fall music to me.
Driving with the windows open over Geist resevoir with loud music blaring out, sun glaring. Concerts. Sweat. Sun. Tattoos. I am kind of sad though. My best friend is moving to Ohio. I'll never see her.
I am making a conscious effort to make friends and be more open. Hmph. It's done! Anyway, more summer thoughts! Firepit, movies, barbecue, Downtown canal, dancing, library (I love the library during the summer. Get free books, air conditioning, free CDs. Libraries are rad!), books, book stores, best buy, Vibes music (wharehour music closed its doors. Sadness. That was a regular summer haunt-they had the hugest used CD selection.), Broad Ripple, warmth, swimsuits, fruit, skimpy tanktops, painted toenails, Keystone, Cincinnati, Bogart's, no homework, Castleton Sqaure Mall, daily Mix CDs, neighborhood pool, full trees, flowers, bees, Verizon Wireless Music Center (It will always be Deer Creek to me.)...summer...
I am starting to feel sad thinking back to my other summers. 2001 kind of sucked because I didn't have my liscence then, and I was home all day long. ONly had a 56k conenction, but spent all day (from the time I got up to about 4 in the morning, straight.) online, tying up the phone lines. The summer I learned how to make videos on the computer. Summer 2002 was spent going the mall pretty much everyday, laying by the pool, making mix cds, making videos, watching an insane amount of Charmed, message boards, my online friends Sarah, Becky, Sus, Aohdan, and so forth and so on. Summer 2003, spent everyday shopping, going to Broad Ripple with Simone and Dani (who are no longer friends.
. They're in my pics.), concerts with Wes and Ben, looking forward to college (a sharp pain hits me when I say this, knowing what I know now.). Hanging out with Wes in Castelton and Keystone. Borders Bookstore. I really need to stop my nostlagia trip. I'm on the verge of tears here.
*sigh*. I don't want August to come. My brother goes away. The first time ever in our lives we'll be apart. I won't know what to do. I don't have close friends in Indy. He's hit. Hopefully a job will remedy that, and SGIndy better do stuff.
moving on. I really love Juliette Lewis' cover of PJ Harvey's "Hardly Wait". It's hot like woa.
Anyway...

Castleton to Nora to Broad Ripple is like my personal little golden triangle. I would also have to list late night walks home on the Monon as exclusive to summer in Indy.
was back in that area this weekend...didn't know i missed indy that much.
