Looks like work might be getting more stable again, which means spare cash. Who knows I might actually get everything paid off this year. We've been doing proposals on a bunch of huge contracts, some of them year long deals, so things are looking up again.

Hey thanks!
She might have been taking part in the joking 'I got it' routine that ThisAintNoPicnic started.
I thought it might be you, you said something on Angelvanilla's page that looked like you did it.

Thank you very much.

we are bascially going from Bagkok to all of lower thailand. It's smaller and since we'll only be there a month, we'll get to see more of it. I want to hit as many of the little islands as I can.

The WoW tradeskill team is now almost complete, we have:
Hethron: Mining / Smithing / Fishing / Cooking. He also seems to be coming along nicely and due to wear the hat of main character.
Hethral: Tailoring / Enchanting
Hethrael: Skinning / Leatherworking

Am I missing anything, do I need to make a warlock yet for picking flowers and making pot-pourri? Did I spell that...

I need to get some sort of stable work again so I can just buy my own house. Where I'm living is great, huge place, low rent, easy going roommate, but it's not mine. Which means I can't just do whatever I want with the place, move around furniture at a whim, let friends crash when they've had too much to drink instead of driving...

Well, the waiting que has only happened the once, and the rest of the Suicide Squad seems to be pretty cool. Up to twelth level I think with the warrior, and smithing's coming along nicely. I think I'm going to start up the hunter on that server again, just for skinning and leatherworking. After all I've got the mage still for enchanting and tailoring. Damn...

haha. no tradeskill song has blessed my ears.

the slippers are awesome. my cats hated them for the longest time. mostly when they had bells on them.

we've kind of slowed on looking for a place. mostly out of fear i think. d20 wants to have more contracts before he commits to leaving here. you know, money is good and stuff.

Well the vacation's over and it's back to work tommorow. I'm thinking I could use another couple weeks off.

Been enjoying WoW so far, for the most part it seems the most fun is just playing it like a single player game, and just chatting with everyone, meeting up for final quest fights. The one time I tried getting a whole group together to do...

Ah, today's a good day.

- World of Warcraft released, and i'm installing it right now.
- Four new Eddie Izzard DVDs at the store today, if you've never checked him out the man's funny as hell.
- My laptop arrived this morning, so I'm at the office patching everything on the super fast connection.
- Really starting to mellow out a bit, having the...

OnlyOblivion has managed to put together a pretty decent crew on Mountain - Deathwing, so the main branch of the Suicide Squad is most likely going to end up being Alliance on that realm. whenever the servers come back up, head on over there. i'm sure Posh and i will be playing well into the night.

Last day before time off, it seems so useless to be here. I know for a fact that what I'm working on right now isn't going to get finished today, so it seems like a why bother even trying thing.

On the other hand, I'm still waiting for the laptop that was supposed to be delivered yesterday, and it's due to be sent to my...

Thats a tought one I have always beena fan of giving money. It easy and you don't have top wory to much about what to get.

How do you like Halo 2? I am also playing Robotech Invasion, it no where as good but it is nostalgia from growing up, I always liked the cartoon.

why were you the one to tell him that he did not get the job and not the HR department? it is bit of an aukward situation to put you in.

It is one of those things and i have to live with it.

The laptop has shipped, it's finally out of production, so I'm actually hopeful about it arriving tommorow.

Also got the invitation to my sister's wedding in the mail this morning, sort of wierd to think of her getting married.

I also picked up halo 2 last night, so tonight I'll be blasting little aliens and running like a little girl from the big ones.

the trick is to run like a little girl directly at the big ones. if you've got Live and haven't joined the SG North America clan yet, let me know so we can get you in there (should you wish to become a part of our motley gang of hooligans).

i may indeed be looking for contracts. there's a fairly high level of upheaval going on and i might find myself sitting in vancouver with a whole lot of time on my hands pretty soon.

yea me and my brother are starting to have similar taste in things, so i will probably just buy him an item of clothing. he wants food related stuff, but he is a trained chef chef so i don't know what's good, and what kind of... spices of the orient or whatever he wants me to buy. haha.

I was talking to the boss this morning, and he was talking about some clients coming in to discuss us doing more work for them. So I ended up telling him if he asked me to work next week I was quitting, apparently he'll be telling them we can't start anything till the week after next when he meets them tommorow.

Nothing quite like not...

i agree. lack of interest and care always gets you what you want. [especially if getting fired/quitting is the other thing you desperately want!]

Ah yes, monday morning. Dragging your ass out of bed, stumbling to the office. And yes once again missing a deadline. As a great programmer friend of mine says, "I love deadlines, especially the whooshing sound they make as they go flying by." I've now managed to get so burnt out that I can't do 3 days worth of work in a week. The downside...
