There was much fun had on the weekend. Once again we descended upon S_Eldorado and his hapless neighbours. This time for Eddie's going away party. We're gonna miss her, but she promises to come back last year, so we won't kidnap her yet. Hopefully her cousin manages to survive having gone drinking with us for the evening.
We had some new faces at the party and it was good to see everyone out. Yes I know some of them aren't really all that new, but they haven't been coming out since we started the get together nearly every weekend phase of the summer and so they felt like new people.
I did my usual drive people home taxi service which in this case managed to take me almost all the way out to Langley where I dropped off a man who was almost but not quite able to identify the farm he was standing in front of and tried to twist the chain off the fence. He then passed out for a few hours before being awoken be poured into a plane for the flight home. It's good to abuse the guests.
S_Eldorado has pictures of some of the antics. What the picture of Fenral doesn't mention is that he was laughing much harder than that and they had time to go into another room, find the camera, get it turned on and take the picture before he could compose himself more than that.
Sunday saw me silently cursing my neighboors who seem to find that a good outlet for their testosterone is to yell at each other and rev weedeaters while saying things like "YEEEEHA" in between mowing their lawns. Now when one gets home after 6am this isn't the sort of thing that's really welcome at 9am. So I waited them out, went back to sleep and when the kids started playing basketball it was time to escape to de dutch for the second pannekoek of the weekend.
I so blew my diet this weekend, but I promise I'll start being good again soon, um how's wednesday sound for that?

you are very right, that kid turned out to be not much of a friend. piss.
how are you this wet and cold morning?
(well... it's a wet and cold mornin' in Britain at least...)
i love hearing out about SG'ers hanging out with other SG'ers. that's freakin' rad. i live with a fellow SG'er, but other than that, i really don't know many in my region. i tried to manufacture one, but that kinda flopped.
