Well it's monday again, and it feels like time for an update.
Had a pretty decent weekend, friday saw me eatting at modern burger (Hurray they're open again!) and then walking down to the paramount to see Wedding Crashers. Getting there we found that it was sold out and decided to see the island instead. Which turned out to be a good move, great show, go see it if you haven't already. In fact, feel free to drag me along.
Saturday, what the fuck happened saturday, oh yah I remember, I worked for a few hours in the morning and then went out with 400lbgorilla, kumquat, fenris23, Fenral, and angelvanilla to some vegitarian place and then the illuminaries thing after. While we were there we ran into Eddie and a bunch of her friends. My impression of them was mostly short and not well lit, something about being in a dark field I think. The fire breathing was pretty cool, and some people went all out on the lanterns, but there needed to be a napalm strike in the middle of the lake to really round out the evening.
Sunday ended up being me staring at my computer and trying to work, but the little words on the screen made no sense at all so I went over to the gorilla habbitat and we built stairs. And they were mighty stairs, fit for the gods themselves to walk upon! Well solid enough for me to walk on anyways, which is about the heaviest thing I expect they'll ever need to hold. After which we realized what time it was and sat around saying we really need to get going for about an hour. then found some chinese food that was pretty tasty and went home to watch a movie and play a bit more WoW.
Somewhere in there I also managed to watch seasons one and two of family guy.
