Well last night was interesting, involving a few journeys.

First there was the physical journey, richmond to vancouver to about 10 different spots in vancouver going in to try and find a bar we could hang out in. There was a bunch I can't remember the name of, then we hit the blarney stone, which sucked for about the first 45 minutes, then as soon as the band got on the feel of the place just changed like magic. So after that we had a good time and only left to find somewhere we could get in with the 400lbgorilla and ended up after more wandering at dv8 after I finally found parking. Then there was the trips to move the cars and get everyone to sleeping place.

Then there was the journey of realization. We ran into some of the others outside Sin City. Which was sort of a what the fuck moment for me. It's one thing to be thinking that people do this. Then there's thinking I know people over the internet that do this. Then I'm there thinking here's people I know that I like hanging out with in person doing this. So I was sort of going huh, and probably giving people wierd looks. So I was thinking about it over the night, and by the end of the night I'd gone from people I know and like do this to people I know and like are out having fun, with the do this being totally dropped.

Being on this site really makes you stop and think about things sometimes. While I haven't hit the point where I'd be comfortable at a fetish night yet, I am at least comfortable with people I know being there and it just being another night out rather than something strange that wierdos do. Then again who knows maybe in a few months I'll be there in a buddah costume insisting people rub my belly. It's a wierd world.
