It's starting to look like the meeting isn't going to happen today, possibly tommorow, or who knows, wednesday? Definitely sometime this week, I need to meet with these people, get everything straightened out. Er work clients, I guess that sort of is an important bit of information, otherwise people are going to be wondering, the mob perhaps, he does talk about finishing off people, maybe the church and he's decided to be a monk?
Right so the weekend went well.
Saturday ended up being all about the physical activities. The repairs to my car took minimal time so there was much time for mucking about. Drove out to castle fun park where there are many batting cages, and smacked the hell out of a bunch of softballs. Then went upstairs and played some games, shot about 45% on the shooting ones. Then came the air hockey, which was the most strenuous part of the day, I have a bruise from this. This is Canada, anything with the word hockey in it gets taken seriously and played hard. After that we headed out to see a movie, but nothing was showing for a few hours so we went to a driving range and hit a few buckets of balls. Then a movie. We saw Hitch, very cutsey, clasic date movie, so of course I was seeing it with one of my guy friends. Will smith was back to his old self more in this, not so much the cocky annoying as hell character from his last few movies.
Sunday was involved with laundry, and sitting on the couch playing video games. Then the call came in (well a tell in game actually) and I lept into action! This action being putting pants into the drier so I could leave the house in a half an hour. Went over to see Posh, d20 and apparently lemonkid for some illuminati. This turned into a parking nightmare, followed by some breakfast at joes diner. Then shopping at a comic shop, not the comic shop, but a comic shop, where I bought a book. Following this we went clothes shopping, in a store where the largest item of apparel is fully three sizes too small for me, and there's old penthouse mags on the walls. Very interesting. While walking the street I was keeping an eye on second story windows, but did not see what I had been hoping to. Finally the illuminati game was played, and it was much fun despite my randomly drawn base card.
I'd have to say lemonkid, interesting fellow, needs to learn to walk in one direction while looking in another. It's a survival skill really.

Wait a minute... you haven't heard of the Dandy Warhols? It is Indie Rock. I don't know if you are into that... it's catchy stuff though. Especially 'You Were the Last High' and 'Bohemian Like You'... hee hee.
