Last day before time off, it seems so useless to be here. I know for a fact that what I'm working on right now isn't going to get finished today, so it seems like a why bother even trying thing.
On the other hand, I'm still waiting for the laptop that was supposed to be delivered yesterday, and it's due to be sent to my work so I sort of want to be here for that. I guess it's another day of sort of pretending to work, and poking around the web.
Starting to think about christmas now, it's funny there's really only two people I buy for, my mom and sister. The two of them also both have birthdays within a month of christmas, so it's all my gift shopping in one batch. Mom's been hinting about her computer being slow, so she's probably going to get a new motherboard / CPU / RAM for christmas. All the other components she has are still fine.
The question is really my sister, and the problem there is I don't know her well. I'd cheerfully put someone in a coma for her, but we don't ever really just hang out so I don't know what she's into or likes doing. Except books, and movies, sort of runs in the family... Maybe I'll track down her husband to be and ask him, he should know.
Or I could so something like buy her a king sized bed for christmas / birthday / wedding all in one. After all her guy's going to be moving in with her once they're married and she's on a single bed now. Or would that be too wierd coming from a brother. Advice welcome on this one.

How do you like Halo 2? I am also playing Robotech Invasion, it no where as good but it is nostalgia from growing up, I always liked the cartoon.
It is one of those things and i have to live with it.
