I've never heard of the show..

I supposed the looks and material are related, but I'm not quite sure if I'm aware of the many material types out there. Silk would be nice, but.. Well, I just don't know.. I'll figure it out when the time comes.

I installed Pascal today! he he. hardware interfacing must suck nowadays, when you're not allowed to do it. If you can just write a bit of asm that spits bits to the port it can be fun, but that kind of thing stopped *years* ago, eh?

I get bored with myself easily (it could just be me, not all/most females); a significant others presence is preferred.. Fortunately, my mind can do better than my own hands.. I'm lucky.

I haven't had to worry about my discs getting ruined in so long, I forgot.. Just once, and I've relearned my lesson. One more mess up, and this cat gets it.

I like reading novels.

I'm the only female in my computer science class. Learning VB is more interesting than any of the males in there, though. I don't catch onto computer things quickly, and would never figure out how to hack into anything..or just mess one thing up by typing two words. (I just learned how to make a print screen a few days ago..that's how 'tarded I am.. ) Hopefully if I decide to continue on with college again in the fall, I'll take more computer classes and get a bit smarter about the whole thing, before computers themselves go even more complex.

I remember when my sister and I/our family had our first computer..a Gateway . We'd restart it in dos, type the little D:/ thing or something, can't remember, and type in the disk name (I think? god, such a bad memory have I) and we'd play either Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, or Treasure Mountain from floppy disks. Can't play those games anymore on here with disks when you have no option to go into dos mode, which I don't even have an idea what that is exactly, except you type stuff in on the black screen.. We have Windows XP now, so I have no idea what linux is, unix(I think?), firefox, don't know what a mac computer looks like..any of that, I'm completely clueless. I think I should go out and buy one of them 'computers for dummies' books, despite the fact I'm on all the damn time. I guess SG occupies almost every second...

Programming question: Why is it so damn difficult?! VB seems to be the most difficult thing I've learned to do on a computer. I cannot imagine something else being even harder. But there is. And it confuses me, and sometimes makes me not want to try and learn anymore, because I feel so lost and belittled.. Okay, I'm done.
