My recording console came today! I was so bummed when the studio I used to work at closed, I lost my job and everything. Well now I will soon be recording bands again, and thats what I love to do.
Got fitted for some custom ear plugs today, gotta preserve the good ole ears forever now. It was so cool, I got to see what my own eardrums look like on a big monitor, and having my ears filled with whatever goop they use was so cool too, I could not hear a thing, except the beat of my own heart!
Feeling soooo much better than yesterday. Hopefully tommorow will be even better.

That is exactly the problem with web design, too ... there are so many do-it-yourself templates and stuff, and they actually look good and work well, so small businesses have to choose, do I go with a designer for $1200 or this nifty template for $99 ... it makes me worry about the future.
Back in 1990-91 my band did some recording ourselves with a Tascam cassette 4-track 'home studio.' All analog all the time, back then. The old days.
