Because I know how to do all the acoustic treatment in my own studio, it was SO worth it to work in NYC. It is amazing how ineffectual the solutions that are in the audio magazines are, and how much more expensive they are as well. My dad helped me out today cuz I needed another set of hands to help install some 2x4s to the walls, making a holder for acoustic panels made of fiberglass. Its cool to work with him, we have not worked on anything like this in over a decade, and cuz I am making it easily removable, I will have the acoustic treatment wherever I go, and my dad helped me make it...
