today in my religions class, some girl started an argument with our teacher about how she feels that the bible is the absolute truth and that the teacher talking about the evolution of the modern day horse and its effects on the native american culture was wrong. she told us she believes in creation and not evolution and that science was a sham because the bible has constantly proved itself correct for hundreds of years. why on earth would you ever sign up for a religions class if you are going to be so narrow-minded that the concept of learning about other religions is enough for you to get in a fight about. the whole class was pretty much laughing at her and telling her to shut up so we could finish off the lecture. by this point she was getting seriously upset and said she felt it was wrong that they could teach this in school knowing that it is not true and then test us on it...anyways, she got up and stormed out of class. im curious if she will come back

snow season is a coming! i went for a little hike a couple days ago and there was some traces of snow on the mountain already...im stoked.
