I saw Roger Waters in concert last night !
For those who don't know, Roger Waters is the lead singer and main artistic influence of Pink Floyd.
His concert last night was one of the single greatest entertainment experiences of my life. The amount of visual stimulation was staggering. There was a monolithic HD screen behind the stage playing the most amazing graphics; everything from outer space scences to scenes that narrated the songs to political and anti-war statements played out through briliantly edited montages. Plus pyro. Lots and lots of pyro. Explosions, fireworks, sparks falling from the rafters. And of course what would a Floyd concert be without lasers ? Not a very good one I'd say 'cause this concert had a shit load and it fucking rocked ! There was even a giant inflated pink flying pig balloon that said impeach Bush now on his ass.
Visuals aside the second half of the show was The Dark Side of the Moon from begining to end. (In my opinion one of if not the greatest album in history.) All in all the music was as epic and beautiful live as it is from any recording I've ever heard; and experiencing it in person made it all the more amazing.
If you ever get the chance to see Roger Waters (or Pink Floyd) in concert do it. I'd say that except for the threesome that will probably never happen I could die totaly happy now.

dude, my dog is el chunko. akc standards put IG's at 8-12 lbs for show and he's right at a round 14. he's lazy and hates to run. he fits in to the rhodes family quite well.
