Although I've forgotten the title, I read an impressively large book in the library a while back and it clearly stated that you should defer to me in such matters. I trust you will consider that evidence to be pursuasive, and I say put it up. The only opinions that matter are yours, and of course mine, as I just explained.

Software conflicts are a fact of life with Winderz unfortunately. ACDSee is crashing in half a second on my week old installation, so I guess it's time to start uninstalling stuff in hopes that I'll be as lucky as you were. Do reinstall the whole system when it's convenient though, because it will almost certainly run far better and faster if you do, and congratulations for vanquishing the DVD demon.
