Will somebody please tell me how to fucking get my pics under 200k and still look good? Everytime I compress them they look so shitty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, you want for the web, right? First save it no larger than lets say, 800px max (wide) if you want to post in your blog....and if yes, probably best to see around 700px w.

Then when you "save for web", make sure it is in RGB format, and that you save as .jpg, "optimized", jpeg HIGH quality, quality is around "60", ....thats what i use for setings. Most important, JPEG! It will be more clear and the file size will be tons less than .gif

THAT should do it!!!
File size,
jpeg high,
quality 60 or 70,



Follow these steps and you should be around 60 or 70kb....small.

I think you might be trying to save too wide of files (too large, that is)
