So I finished 'House of Leaves' by Mark Z Danielewski. I'm not really sure what to make of it. It certainly makes for an interesting experiment but I'm not sure if it works 100%. It's not an easy book to explain if you haven't seen it, but it essentially it reads like a non-fiction description of a film that was never made by people that...

Hot wire is the way to go with polystyrene, much tidier. Serenity= awesome, end of argument.

Thanks for commenting on my set!
So in the last four days I've been a TV Psychic, a traitor of the Round Table, a robot athlete, a leper and a Chinese Emperor. I've also entertained a circle of vampire magicians and a group of shipwrecked Victorian explorers. I also played some miserable hands of poker and won several games of Abalone. Hurrah!

Did you not have a smiley for what you just said
thanks for the input and for what its worth I think they should have stuck with the fish. As Bill Hicks once said its kind of like going up to Jackie Onassis wearing a shotgun pendant.

So what's been happening on Mt. Olympus this week? Aside from laying bets on what animal Zeus is going to shag this week and who's going to win the latest fight between Apollo and Athena, not much really...

Listened to your pod thing.
Liked it loads.
Read Heaven Mirror by Hancock, enjoyed it. I agree with him to an extent.
Its enough for me that he proved recorded history is older than previously thought, even if everyone else thinks he`s mad.
I`m going back now into your journal to find out what you`re talking about here.
Keep well
Oh and for the record - Rolemaster is my favorite role playing game.

Hehehehehe! The guy who asked to be my "free butter" is Italian, from one of my favorite cities, Milan (I lived there for awhile). You & I will definitely see each other when I come to London! Won't be for awhile, though. I want to visit Portland, Oregon and Los Angeles first here in the States... I live to travel!

This weekend I did some very exciting things, such as removing the weeds from my patio, chopping back some monster climbing plant thing in my back garden and mowing the lawn. Riveting news eh?
I also spent some time playing the Eve Online MMORPG for the first time. On the one hand it is gorgeous to look at, with user-friendly game-play and it seems to...

Oh, it's you. Definitely.
This week seems to be one of those weeks where the world decides to remind you how much you are *not* the centre of the universe.

hello
yep, i would do it with liquid latex. Just brush it onto your skin in a thin layer and dry with a hairdrier, you'll need to put on quiet a few layers and always wait untill the one is dry before brushing on another. You can stick bits of thin tissue paper between the layers and when it's all dry powder it or put make-up on and using scissors peel bits off.
You can also use ordinary gelatine, but that leaves more of a blistery look.
Hope it makes sense

Well I'm long overdue, so this is a long one. Hope you've got the patience to actually all the way through to the end...
After my last update I had to attend a family wedding up north. The third of my three female cousins to get hitched. It went pretty well, apart from a spot of rain. Far too traditional and unimaginative for my tastes...

Well I suppose it's about time I updated. France was ok, great weather, great food, lots of booze. The only downside was having to interact with my estranged dad and his wife. Well that's probably a bit harsh, but after a day or so me and my dad have very little to say to each other. And his wife renewed my low opinion of her...

haha, fraid not
that last picture on your journal is scary, and that's coming from a tarantula owner, so technically I shouldn't have a fear of small spiders!

Choices are:
a) Something very very stupid
-or-
b) Something far too sensibleand probably wrong.
So, in short, erm... no idea.

After 3 very cool series of Alias, of which I'm not even sure if it's the 2nd or 3rd that's my favourite, and with such distinct differences between each series that this distinction is actually meaningful. I'm willing to cut Abrams some slack.
