Well I'm back from Barcelona. Not gonna bore everyone with too many details, but had a bloody fantastic time. Didn't see much of the city, but met a whole bunch of cool people, played a lot of cards, and drank a shed-load of alcohol. I really need some time to recover, but alas I'm straight back to work tomorrow.

Well I'm glad to say the pirates LRP thing was a huge success in the end. Ended up typing stuff up and printing it out until 3.00am on Friday and into Saturday daytime as well, but when it started it was f***ing brilliant. Watching 18 pissed-up nutters in pirate costumes going Arrr!!! for 3 hours made it all worthwhile. Hurrah for me!

My ex girlfriend co-signed with her previous boyfriend on a credit card and ended up having to pay about 6 grand in the end because her then exboyfriend said fuck it......he didn't really care about his credit. So her credit would have been shot if she didn't pay it. Tough learning experience. Just a story though as I have no idea of your relationship with your ex.

Ended up in the Ship on Wardour St last night (after Killing Joke) - the place was absolutely kicking. Seems to have picked up in the last few months as the "fun pub to go to" - it was packed and the music was excellent (FNM, RATM, ACDC, Only Ones, Banshees, Dead Kennedys, Nirvana).
mind you, our barman was deaf, and the music was so loud, we ended up with some really funny drink orders....

about '88 was the year I cut off all my hair - all 22 inches of "classic" mohawk. Took a lot of guts to do it but raised about 500 for the local kids' hospice. Plus it was a pain in the arse to keep looking good, and training oneself to sleep on one side

Well first of all I'd like to say that Underworld (the movie) rocks big time. I don't care if it's slightly derivative, or if it's copying White Wolf, it's f***ing damn cool and I loved it. Vampires, werewolves, double-crossing, intrigue, techno/gothic/punk imagery, and of course lovely Kate in PVC. Hell what more could a horror-geek-fanboy possibly want?
